With a core philosophy of providing for the care, welfare, safety, and security of everyone involved in a crisis situation, CPI’s Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training offers proven strategies to give educators and human service providers the skills to safely respond to various levels of risk behavior while balancing the responsibilities of care.
This blended course combines online learning with face-to-face instruction and practice. Part 1 is a WebEx virtual learning session with your trainer. Part 2 is the in-person physical restraint practice. The date, time, and location of Part 2 will be determined when we have more information regarding our return to school. In-person practice will be scheduled in small groups within 30 days of returning to school. You must complete both sessions in order to complete CPI Certification. Trainings may move to face-to-face if allowed.
Prior to the class, you will receive a WebEx invitation and workbook pick-up information.
