Mindfulness - Calm Classroom: In 30 seconds to 3 minutes help your students develop strategies to calm and refocus in the classroom. Use simple research-based mindfulness techniques to help students develop self-awareness, mental focus, and inner clam. Learn about effective ways to help our students manage stress, regulate their emotions, and lead more productive, well-balanced lives. This will be a 3 part series. Staff can attend all sessions, two, or one.
Calm Classroom - Stretching
Stretching helps free our bodies of any tightness caused by stress. When we stretch, fresh blood and oxygen are carried to the muscles. This restores our energy levels and helps us to relax. We will learn how to use these stretching techniques in the classroom to help prevent fatigue, aches, stiffness so students can better focus. Breathing with stretch is also important component to refocus.
